The folks from @wakenaked_music  asked me to design an identity for them. Wake Naked is a brand from the Bay Area styling itself after the great rock music of the 1960’s and 70’s. We discussed the creative process, then got to work. We landed on a wordmark that embodies their genre by drawing inspiration from psychedelic rock posters and Art Nouveau typography. We wanted a logo that was scalable, flexible, and unique enough to be memorable.
